Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is one of the nation’s largest and most
respected school-based, family, and community engagement organizations in the country.
Since the program’s creation in 1998 (and implementation at Rosemeade in 2014),
more than 6,450 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S.
program of their own. Special to Rosemeade families is a program highlighting
the Moms, Super M.O.M.S (Moms of Magnificent students). Because of
the overwhelming response we made sure the opportunity was available
to every family member of a Rosemeade student.

Fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, step-fathers, step-mothers,
uncles, aunts, who volunteer to serve at least one time a year in a variety
of school activities. Duties include activities such as changing posters outside
classrooms, stacking books in the library, car line help, recess help,
and other volunteer opportunities!

Get a picture with your kids for the yearbook and get your picture posted
on the board for the school year and complete the kid favorite for making
announcements. The program offers tons of flexibility in what works
for your schedule, and most days are available if given 4-5 days lead time!

  2024 Contest - Accepting Imperfection

The Reflections contest occurs every fall.  It has been a staple arts program in many schools
for over 50 years.
Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have
found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature,
music composition, photography,
and visual arts. With positive recognition as the
focus of this program, rather than competition,
students of all ages and abilities can
experience the benefits of creative expression
and help in finding their own voice in telling
their unique story. Started in 1969
by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA
President, Reflections has grown
to be one of the largest nationwide programs
of its kind, with more than 200,000
 students participating annually.

Visit the 2022-2023 Reflections Gallery to see examples of entries that were awarded
by Texas PTA in past years. And see last year's State and National results.

Express your artistic talent through Reflections!
